The Uses of Portable External Hard Drives
The rise of digital file formats, and the increased demand for file format compatibility between both software and hardware has led to great changes in technology. You need to only concern yourself with two specifications -
Size - How big is the external drive? How big do you need it to be? New drives have storage capabilities measurable by terabytes, as opposed to gigabytes, again demonstrating just how quickly the technology develops.
Data Transfer Speed - Your new drive should be able to not only store all of your data, but transfer of data to different drives should be quick and simple.
