Singstar Disc Swap Help?
I have the first Sing Star for the ps3 and singstar amped for the ps2. I have the 80g 4 USB port model, so yes it's backwards compatible. I heard that you can swap out the discs while playing in game. I eject amped and it asks me to put in a sing star disc, so I tried to put in my ps3 singstar and the game tells me that it's not a singstar disc. I tried a couple more times and still the same message. So I quit the game and put in my singstar ps3 disc to make sure that it's still working and it works perfectly. Then I try to eject my singstar disc and it just brings me to the ps3 menu. It doesn't ask me to put in another singstar disc.
So my questions are Can you swap the discs from ps3 to ps2 and back again?
Do I need to download an update that involves me going to the ps store instead of the one that pops up when I insert the disc?
Is there a special place on the ps3 disc that I have to tell it that I'm trading out the game?
Yes you can swap the discs. you should already have the update for it so all you have to do is press select when you are choosing songs and swap the discs!
